Descriptions

According to the galvanizing method for steel strips: single-sided galvanizing and double-sided galvanizing.
Single-sided galvanized steel strip pipe: The base material is single-sided hot-dip galvanized steel strip. After the pipe is manufactured, only the outer wall of the pipe has a zinc coating, while the inner wall is made of exposed low-carbon steel.
Advantages: Lower cost; the corrosion-resistant exterior wall meets basic requirements.
Applicable scenarios: Scenarios that require only corrosion resistance for exterior walls (such as cross beams of external barriers, internal supports, and interior walls that do not come into contact with corrosive liquids or materials).
A pipe made from double-sided galvanized steel strip: The base material is hot-dip galvanized steel strip on both sides. After the pipe is manufactured, a layer of zinc is present on both the outer and inner walls (in certain areas) of the pipe.
Advantages: The inner wall also has a certain resistance to corrosion and can come into contact with mildly corrosive liquids (such as clean tap water).
Applicable scenarios: Transporting low-pressure fluids (such as sub-distribution pipes for domestic water supply and irrigation water pipes), and scenarios requiring a simple, corrosion-resistant internal lining.
2. Classification by application: structural use and fluid transport use
Strip-shaped galvanized steel pipes for structural use: They exhibit excellent load-bearing and supporting performance; wall thickness typically ranges from 1.5 to 3.0 mm, and the outer diameter ranges from 15 mm to 114 mm.
Common specifications: Outer diameter 20 mm (DN15), 25 mm (DN20), 40 mm (DN32), 50 mm (DN40);
Suitable scenarios: protective barriers in open spaces, temporary supports for buildings, frames for furniture, advertising platforms, greenhouse frames.
Galvanized steel strip pipes for fluid conveyance: These pipes exhibit excellent sealing performance and resistance to low pressure. The wall thickness typically ranges from 1.2 to 2.5 mm, and the outer diameter is between 15 mm and 65 mm.
Common specifications: Outer diameter 21.3 mm (DN15), 26.9 mm (DN20), 33.7 mm (DN25), 48.3 mm (DN40);
Application scenarios: Subsidiary water supply pipes in homes and small buildings, irrigation water pipes in agricultural lands, and low-pressure compressed air pipelines (non-corrosive).
